# 7 Blueticks Alternatives for WhatsApp Web (2026, Compared)

> Leaving Blueticks? Kaption, WAScheduler, WAPlus, WA Web Plus, Pragmaz, Cooby and TimelinesAI compared on scheduling, campaigns, price and ratings.

Canonical: https://kaptionai.com/blog/en/blueticks-alternatives-whatsapp-web/

Blueticks is a WhatsApp Web extension for scheduled messages, recurring messages and campaigns, and it is popular: 60,000 users on the Chrome Web Store. It is also the lowest-rated tool in its category, at 2.6 stars, and its per-user pricing climbs quickly. If you are looking for a Blueticks alternative for WhatsApp, this list covers seven, with what each one does better and worse than Blueticks.

*Updated November 7, 2026. Competitors' prices and store figures checked on November 3, 2026; Kaption's prices are its 2027 plans.*

*Kaption is our product; we list where others are better.*

If you only want the head-to-head between Blueticks and Kaption, with the step-by-step move, go to **[switching from Blueticks to Kaption](/switch/blueticks/)**. This post is the wider list.

## The short answer

- **Best for one person who schedules follow-ups and also gets voice notes:** Kaption. Five one-to-one scheduled messages a week on Pro (US$11.99 a month) or unlimited on Business (US$19.99 a month), plus voice-note transcripts and translation that Blueticks doesn't offer. For scheduling alone, Blueticks Basic costs less.
- **Best for scheduling depth, including groups:** WAScheduler. Recurring rules, retries, polls and cancel-on-reply.
- **Best for campaigns plus a CRM:** WAPlus CRM. Broadcasts on every plan, a free tier with 3 schedulers, and HubSpot, Salesforce and Zoho integrations.
- **Best for HubSpot users:** Cooby. Chat tabs, snooze and reminders, synced to HubSpot.
- **Best for teams sharing numbers:** TimelinesAI, a team inbox with CRM sync and an MCP server.
- **Stay with Blueticks** if you need sending with the computer off: only Blueticks Pro and Pragmaz Advanced offer it here.

## Why do people look for a Blueticks alternative?

The two most common reasons in its public reviews are reliability and price. Among the reviews the Chrome Web Store shows first, several 1-star reviews from 2025 and 2026 describe the same problems:

- **The browser has to stay open on Basic.** One reviewer from August 2026: "I scheduled and closed my browser it doesn't work you'll need to keep it open for it to work."
- **The paid always-on mode disconnects.** A 2-star review from October 2025 says it disconnects "almost weekly" without warning.
- **Billing and support.** A January 2026 reviewer paid for a plan that wasn't activated and couldn't reach a person in support.
- **Updates broke scheduling,** per a September 2025 review.

Price is the other reason. Blueticks charges per user: Basic is $9 per user a month ($7 billed yearly), and computer-off sending needs Pro at $50 per user a month ($45 yearly), as of Nov 3, 2026.

## How do the 7 Blueticks alternatives compare?

Figures come from each tool's Chrome Web Store listing and pricing page, as of Nov 3, 2026.

## Which Blueticks alternative should you pick?

Start from what you actually use Blueticks for, because no single alternative replaces all of it. If you use it to schedule follow-ups to individual clients, Kaption or WAScheduler cover that; Kaption costs more than Blueticks Basic, but adds transcripts and translation. If you use it for campaigns, look at WAPlus, WA Web Plus or Pragmaz. If you need an always-on cloud sender, Pragmaz Advanced is the only other option on this list.

### 1. Kaption: scheduling plus transcripts and translation

[Kaption](/schedule-whatsapp-messages/) schedules one-to-one WhatsApp messages from WhatsApp Web in Chrome and Edge, or from its desktop app for Mac and Windows. Write the message, pick a date and time, and it sends from your own session; edit or cancel it any time before. Reminders, which nudge you and send nothing, repeat daily, weekly or monthly. Scheduled messages and reminders are on Pro (five a week) and Business (unlimited), and every account has them in its first 60 days.

Against Blueticks, Kaption adds features Blueticks doesn't advertise: [voice-note transcripts](/whatsapp-voice-notes-to-text/), chat and voice-note summaries, [live translation](/translate-whatsapp-messages/) in 36 languages, privacy mode and screen lock, a desktop app, and [WhatsApp call recording](/call-recording/) on Business (WhatsApp calls only, audio only). Both have an MCP server for Claude and ChatGPT, so that isn't a reason to switch on its own.

**Limits:** no campaigns or bulk messages (its terms forbid them), no group scheduling, and nothing sends while the computer is off. Free has scheduling only in your first 60 days, and Pro allows five scheduled messages a week; unlimited scheduling is on Business.

**Price:** Pro US$11.99 a month (US$9.99 a month billed every 3 months, US$7.99 billed yearly) with five scheduled messages a week; Business US$19.99 a month (US$14.99 every 3 months, US$11.99 yearly) with unlimited scheduled messages and 2 WhatsApp numbers. Blueticks Basic, with unlimited scheduling, is $9 per user a month ($7 yearly), so it costs less at every billing period. See [pricing](/pricing/).

**Chrome Web Store:** about 50,000 users, 4.8 stars from 5.5K ratings.

The full move, from listing your pending Blueticks messages to cancelling the copies so nothing sends twice, is on the [Blueticks switch page](/switch/blueticks/).

### 2. WAScheduler: if scheduling is all you need

WAScheduler schedules to contacts, groups and unsaved numbers, with recurring rules from every minute to every year, attachments, polls, retries, cancel-on-reply and a calendar view. For pure scheduling it goes further than Blueticks or Kaption.

**Limits:** Chrome and WhatsApp Web must be open at send time, like Blueticks Basic. No campaigns, transcription, translation or AI. Prices aren't published; one 3-star review from September 2025 calls it "High pricing with less features."

**Price (as of Nov 3, 2026):** not published.

**Chrome Web Store:** 20,000 users, 4.6 stars from 1.7K ratings. More on our [WAScheduler page](/alternatives/wascheduler/).

### 3. WAPlus CRM: campaigns and a CRM, with a real free tier

WAPlus combines broadcasts and auto-replies with a CRM layer: custom tabs, labels, a sales pipeline, contact cards and HubSpot, Salesforce and Zoho integrations. Its Free plan includes 3 schedulers, 3 reminders, broadcasts and 3,000 characters of AI translation a month.

**Limits:** no voice-note transcription and no MCP connector. Team features sync conversations to WAPlus's servers. The pricing page doesn't say whether prices are monthly or annualized.

**Price (as of Nov 3, 2026):** Free; Starter $12.99 per user; Pro $17.99 per user; Growth $20.99 per user.

**Chrome Web Store:** 70,000 users, 4.9 stars from 4.1K ratings. See our [WAPlus CRM comparison](/alternatives/waplus-crm/).

### 4. WA Web Plus: campaigns in the most-installed toolkit

WA Web Plus by Elbruz Technologies lists scheduled messages, broadcast campaigns, smart auto-replies, templates, tasks, contact and group export and webhooks on its paid plans. With 2 million users, it is the biggest name in WhatsApp Web add-ons.

**Limits:** no transcription, translation or MCP advertised. The free plan's contents aren't published. Another extension uses the same name, so check the developer.

**Price (as of Nov 3, 2026):** Starter $14.99 a month (1 user); Professional $34.99 (5 users); Expert $49.99 (10 users).

**Chrome Web Store:** 2,000,000 users, 4.7 stars from 52.8K ratings. See [switching from WA Web Plus](/switch/wa-web-plus/).

### 5. Pragmaz: the other cloud sender

Pragmaz targets Brazilian sellers. Its plans add automatic messages to contacts, groups and labels, scheduled messages and calls (Intermediate), a Kanban CRM, and on Advanced, 24-hour cloud sending with the computer off plus the official Meta API. Its Status PRO add-on schedules WhatsApp statuses.

**Limits:** prices are in Brazilian reais and high for one person. Scheduling starts on Intermediate.

**Price (as of Nov 3, 2026):** Basic R$151.24 a month (R$120.99 on annual); Intermediate R$226.24 (R$180.99); Advanced R$443.74 (R$354.99).

**Chrome Web Store:** 100,000 users, 4.2 stars from 3.6K ratings. See our [Pragmaz comparison](/alternatives/pragmaz/).

### 6. Cooby: reminders and HubSpot, not campaigns-first

Cooby organizes WhatsApp Web into system tabs (Unread, Need reply) and custom tabs, with snooze, chat reminders and notes, and syncs to HubSpot (Salesforce on team plans). It also offers broadcasts and templates. Its Free plan includes 3 custom tabs, 3 templates, 10 reminders and 5 notes.

**Limits:** whether its "scheduled events" send scheduled messages isn't confirmed on its pages, so don't count on it as a scheduler. Recent 1-star reviews mention cancelling only through email and live chat, and bugs with the inbox and snoozing.

**Price (as of Nov 3, 2026):** Extension Free; Extension Pro $9.99 a month; CoobyTeams $17.99 a month for up to 3 users.

**Chrome Web Store:** 20,000 users, 4.5 stars from 137 ratings. See our [Cooby comparison](/alternatives/cooby/).

### 7. TimelinesAI: for teams, not individuals

TimelinesAI is a web app with a Chrome side panel: a shared inbox for many WhatsApp numbers, CRM sync with Pipedrive, HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce and others, ChatGPT summaries and auto-replies, mass messaging campaigns, and an MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Codex.

**Limits:** no free plan, and it is priced per seat (each connected number takes one). Conversations live in TimelinesAI's workspace, not only on your device. Its pricing page doesn't mention message scheduling.

**Price (as of Nov 3, 2026):** Starter $35 per seat a month ($28 billed yearly); Pro $49 ($39 yearly); 10-day free trial.

**Chrome Web Store:** 3,000 users, 4.2 stars from 14 ratings. The extension is a companion to the web app, so the store count understates its user base. See our [TimelinesAI comparison](/alternatives/timelinesai/).

## When isn't Kaption the right pick?

Kaption is not a full Blueticks replacement. Skip it if:

- **You run campaigns.** Kaption doesn't send bulk or campaign messages, by design. WAPlus, WA Web Plus, Pragmaz, Cooby and TimelinesAI do.
- **You need sending with the computer off.** Stay on Blueticks Pro or look at Pragmaz Advanced.
- **You schedule to groups.** Kaption is one-to-one only; WAScheduler handles groups.
- **You use Blueticks' AI agent to answer customers.** Kaption suggests replies but has no agent that answers on its own.
- **You need boards, tasks or a CRM.** Kaption isn't a CRM.

Kaption makes sense when you are one person scheduling follow-ups to individual clients and you also want transcripts and translation in the same extension. If you only schedule, Blueticks Basic is cheaper.

## Frequently asked questions

### What is the best free Blueticks alternative?

WAPlus CRM, if you need scheduling for free: its Free plan includes 3 schedulers. Kaption includes scheduling in every account's first 60 days; after that its Free plan keeps voice notes with limits and privacy mode, but no scheduled messages or reminders. For more free options, see our list of [free WhatsApp Web extensions](/blog/en/free-whatsapp-web-extensions-2026/).

### Is Kaption cheaper than Blueticks?

Not for scheduling alone. Blueticks Basic is $9 per user a month ($7 billed yearly) with unlimited scheduling. Kaption Pro is US$11.99 a month (US$9.99 billed every 3 months, US$7.99 yearly) with five scheduled messages a week, and Kaption Business, with unlimited scheduling and 2 WhatsApp numbers, is US$19.99 a month (US$11.99 yearly). Kaption costs less than Blueticks Pro ($50 per user a month, $45 yearly), but Blueticks Pro sends with the computer off and Kaption doesn't. What the difference buys in Kaption is voice-note transcripts, translation and summaries. Blueticks prices as of Nov 3, 2026.

### Which alternative sends messages when my computer is off?

Pragmaz Advanced, which advertises 24-hour cloud sending. Kaption, WAScheduler and the others on this list send from your open WhatsApp Web session.

### Can I move my scheduled messages from Blueticks?

Not automatically. List the pending messages in Blueticks, recreate each one in the new tool, then cancel the Blueticks copy so it isn't sent twice. The [Blueticks switch page](/switch/blueticks/) walks through it.

### Does Kaption have an MCP server like Blueticks?

Yes. Add Kaption's MCP server to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor and the assistant can search chats, summarize them, set reminders and schedule a message after you confirm it. Details on the [MCP page](/mcp/).

### Which alternative is best for WhatsApp campaigns?

WAPlus CRM, WA Web Plus or Pragmaz, all of which advertise broadcasts. Kaption doesn't do campaigns. Sending to people who haven't opted in can get a number banned, so for marketing at scale the official WhatsApp Business API is the safer path.

### Is Blueticks safe to use?

We can't judge its security, but its public rating is 2.6 stars from 406 ratings, the lowest on this list, and several recent reviews describe missed sends and billing issues. Read its reviews and privacy policy before paying. Our older [Kaption vs Blueticks face-off](/blog/en/kaptionai-vs-blueticks-scheduling-and-reminders-face-off/) and the [comparison table](/compare/) have more context.
